Top Pickleball Courts In Charleston

There are many great pickleball courts in Charleston, but here are just a few that have to be mentioned:

1. Collins Park

Collins Park is located just outside of the Charleston International Airport.

This is a public park with many amenities such as a playground area, community center, tennis and pickleball courts, and large baseball fields that are famous for having hosted the Dixie Majors World Series numerous times.

But what’s most important for us are, of course, pickleball courts. This is a very popular spot in Charleston so if the local pickleball community meets and plays there there must be a very good spot to play pickleball. In this park, you will find 16 pickleball courts.

Out of these courts, 10 courts are dedicated pickleball courts with permanent lines and nets, 4 more courts are dedicated courts with permanent lines and portable nets provided, and the last 2 courts have permanent lines overlaid over a tennis court with portable nets available.

The reservations of the courts can be arranged and best of all, these courts are free to play since they are part of a public park!

As the courts are located in the park, you might also play pickleball on the grass!

More rare amenities this park offers are disc golf and the fact that this park serves also as a host site for competitive horse shows. But the most important of all amenities is the pickleball courts, naturally right?

In the tennis center, you will find 6 pickleball courts with permanent lines overlaid over the tennis courts.

Four of these courts have portable nets available to use, and the rest 2 courts are overlaid over 2 courts so they use a tennis net which is a little bit higher and will not be a problem for the non-professional players.
