7 Best Pickleball Courts In Greenville, South Carolina

So you checked in a hotel and are looking for the best pickleball courts in Greenville to get your pickleball game on? You are in the right spot!

I’ve compiled the list of the best pickleball courts Greenville SC has in store for you.

Despite its small(ish) population, this wonderful city is a hidden South Carolina gem when it comes to pickleball.

From public parks with many amenities and even more pickleball courts to sports complexes and country clubs, I am sure you will find the best pickleball court for your needs and money!

So shall we check out these courts together? Who is serving first?

1. Southside Park

Southside Park is located between the Simpsonville and Mauldin area, in the southeast area of Greenville. This is a very popular public park (200,000 visitors) in lower Greenville where you can have a fun day outside with your family and friends.

Some of the activities you can do at this location include doing athletics, playing basketball or tennis, grilling, or even swimming in a waterpark with slides!

And most important of all, there are 12 dedicated pickleball courts with permanent nets and lines.

The courts are free, but reservation of the shelters will cost you a one-time fee.

If you don’t want to reserve a court, don’t worry! With the right adjustments, it’s possible to play pickleball on a tennis court! Still, I would prefer to stay on the safe side.

  • Functional training area,
  • Half-court basketball,

Finally, there are 14 pickleball courts with permanent lines overlaid over tennis courts and nets that are usually used for tennis so they can be a bit taller. I believe this won’t be a problem for novice and casual players.
