Melba Bishop Park is located in North Valley, in the northern area of Carlsbad. The Melba Bishop Recreation Center is a spacious facility situated within the expansive Park, spanning 16 acres. 

Designed to cater to the diverse needs of the community, this facility spans a vast 35,000 square feet. Within its premises, you will find a well-equipped gymnasium featuring two regulation-size basketball courts, complete with convenient locker and shower facilities.

But what is most important to us is of course 11 pickleball courts. These courts are dedicated courts with permanent nets and lines.

Additionally, an auditorium, meeting room, dance, and fitness room, as well as a preschool room, are also available for use. With an impressive annual participation of around 250,000 individuals, the Recreation Center offers a myriad of activities and events to choose from.
