How Many Pickleball Courts Are In Seattle?
While I’ve listed 19 courts, many more exist.
According to websites such as Global Pickleball, there are around 50 registered pickleball courts in the area. However, this doesn’t mean that you cannot find some new locations, or even some DIY places in people’s backyards.
The only thing that’s important is that you manage to find a place you’ll enjoy playing at.
Is Pickleball Popular In Seattle?
While you might not think so after hearing the number of courts on its own, pickleball is actually very popular in Seattle.
In fact, Seattle is number one in pickleball courts per number of residents! According to statistics, there are 20.5 pickleball courts per 100,000 Seattle residents!
This includes both designated courts, as well as courts that overlay over tennis and other courts.
Considering that pickleball was invented on Bainbridge Island, WA, near Seattle, this shouldn’t surprise you too much.
